Map Enhancements:

Issue: Need for improved environmental details and map navigation.

Action:

  • Implemented multiple updates to the map, including enhancements to trees and overall landscape to ensure a more immersive and visually appealing experience.

Inventory System Overhaul:

Issue: Components Inventory needed restoration and various inventory functionalities required improvement.

Action:

  • Restored Components Inventory for better management and organization.

  • Added quickbar functionality integrating with the Inventory UI.

  • Introduced new slots for melee weapons.

  • Implemented fixes to ensure correct pickup and storage of items like food and ammo.

  • Enhanced inventory slot functionality for seamless dropping and actor changes.

Combat and Weapon Adjustments:

Issue: Recoil mechanics and weapon interactions required fine-tuning. Pistol firing shotgun ammunition.

Action:

  • Conducted tests, set up and customized recoil mechanics for various weapons.

  • Added new weapon sounds to enrich the auditory experience during combat.

  • Fixed several issues related to combat mechanics, ensuring a more fluid and responsive combat system.

  • Improved interactions for specific weapon behaviors, such as pistol shooting and handling quickbar and inventory ammo dynamics.

  • Added new weapon sounds for AK47 and M4A1.

  • Corrected the ammunition type for pistols to ensure they only fire the appropriate pistol rounds.

Health System Overhaul:

Issue: Various bugs in the health widget bar and health component.

Action:

  • Fixed the health widget bar and component bugs to ensure accurate health tracking and display.

Miscellaneous Fixes:

Issue: Various bugs and gameplay functionalities needed attention.

Action:

  • Fixed numerous bugs affecting different game components for a more stable experience.

  • Implemented functionalities to streamline team setups.

  • Fixed reload mechanics to ensure proper ammo subtraction and smooth processes.

  • Addressed the incorrect weapon socket issue on the character’s skeletal mesh, ensuring weapons now properly align with the character model.

  • Fixed bugs related to the animation manager and spawning manager.
